The most popular cities for Erasmus Plus students
There is no shortage of choice when it comes to European mobility destinations. But in reality, students’ favorite destinations can be counted on the fingers of one hand and vary little over the years.
Among the favorite destinations of Erasmus + students we find :
Erasmus in London
The UK is going through a difficult political time due to Brexit and concerns about student exchange programs.
However, if the UK government manages to reach an agreement with the European Union, French students will still be able to benefit from the most prestigious universities such as the University of London, the European School of Economics or the University of the Arts.
French students are concerned about various things when choosing London. For instance the cost of living is very expensive and can lead to many expenses (rent, food, tuition fees).
Don’t forget that the Erasmus program is there to support students financially, thanks to a scholarship or internship funding. Students are supported from the beginning to the end of their stay abroad.
Erasmus in Madrid
Spain is a dream destination for French students because it has many perks: a quality of life beyond compare, top-of-the-range universities, a very dense heritage and a competitive business network.
Spanish cities are always at the top of the list of preferred destinations for students. Madrid is the most popular, followed by Seville, Barcelona, Granada, Valencia and Salamanca.
Madrid is the centre of higher education, with the brilliant IE Business School, the Complutense University and the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
With its mild climate, low cost of living and wide range of cultural events throughout the year, Madrid is one of the jewels in the crown of the Erasmus Plus program.
