As many people and websites will tell you, getting an internship agreement when you have no training is complicated. There is an idiom that describes the situation well: “the snake that bites its own tail”. The point of this article is to give you the best possible solutions, so that you can do an internship in France or abroad.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Obtaining an internship agreement without a school<\/b><\/p>\n

If you are no longer at school but would like to do an internship in France or abroad, there are many solutions. We will see which ones are the best suited.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

By searching on the internet or by asking around, you will find many solutions to obtain an internship agreement.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is not advisable to do an internship without an internship agreement because you will not have <\/span>health insurance<\/b> or social security cover. For example, if you have an accident during your working hours while on an internship, you will have to pay for your own medical expenses and an operation can cost thousands of euros. Furthermore, it may be complicated under the law to start an internship without signing an agreement.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is also possible to buy <\/span>internship agreements<\/b>. This means that you can enroll in a course that you will not attend. You just have to pay the registration fee. This course will enable you\u00a0 to do an internship. However, this solution is not exactly legal. In addition, the institution must agree to it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And although some schools issue agreements to their former students, this practice is totally illegal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Obtaining an agreement through the local mission or P\u00f4le emploi\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

To obtain a legal internship agreement, tell the local community aid project for young people in your town\u00a0 <\/span>(if you are under 25<\/b>) about your project. This organization will help you find an internship in France and will provide you with an agreement for a minimum of 2 months.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you want to do an internship agreement, you can contact a<\/span> Maison de l’Europe<\/b>. This association can be linked to the local community aid and will provide you with agreements if you find an internship in Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n

Employment offices<\/b> can also help you to obtain an internship agreement. You just have to register. They will offer you an appointment, at which point you can tell them about your internship project in France or abroad. You should prepare this process well in advance as it can take time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Obtaining a convention through the “Une Ann\u00e9e Autrement ” program.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b>There is a program dedicated to people without schools, called “<\/span>Une ann\u00e9e autrement<\/b>” (A year differently). You want to acquire new skills outside of school, to be committed to a cause, to live new experiences in France or abroad.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Maisons Familiales Rurales<\/span><\/a> (Rural Family Homes) accompany young people during the “Ann\u00e9e Autrement”, offering a follow-up and helping promote this professional experience in their CV.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are many alternatives to obtain an internship agreement without following a training course. Make sure that the company accepts and signs your agreement, as some may refuse. Prepare your project well in advance, take the best solution for you and go on an internship in France or abroad!
