Completing an Erasmus internship in Malta may not be your first thought. Indeed, the island is not necessarily at the top of the destinations where students go, but this one may well surprise you. We will therefore give you six reasons for completing an Erasmus internship in Malta.

English as a national language<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First advantage in Malta: everyone speaks English. You will be able to perfect your accent and return bilingual if the motivation takes you. And if you are afraid of the Maltese accent, this is a very cosmopolitan island where you will meet people from all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A cheap life<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Small budget? Rest assured, the cost of living in Malta is rather low. You will find a single accommodation for rent of about 500\u20ac and a roommate for even less! As for going out, a beer costs you on average less than 3\u20ac and a restaurant about fifteen euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Possibility of having a scholarship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As Malta is an Erasmus+ destination, completing an internship gives you the opportunity to access a mobility grant of up to 500\u20ac. In addition, you can accumulate this scholarship with others such as that of the CROUS, the Ministry of Higher Education, or that of territorial collectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sun is always here for you.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The island has the chance to enjoy a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and hot summers. The temperature rarely drops below 15 degrees and generally rises to around 30 degrees in August. So this is not a destination where you might get cold!
No time to get bored
If you do your internship in Malta, you probably won\u2019t have a minute to get bored. Between crazy nightlife, breathtaking cultural tours, unusual activities, and cosmopolitan student life, the island will quickly win your heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Incredible landscapes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Last but not least: the beauty of the island. With the perfect mix of urbanism and nature, the number of different landscapes to discover is almost incredible\u2014coup de Coeur on the island of Gozo, the small country of peasants and sinners.
